ROMANS 6:23 FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD!
We are created to have a relationship with God. However, our sin seperates us from Him.
Romans 6:23 tells us that the wages of sin is death. Because all of us have sinned, our relationship with God was ruined, we deserve to be seperated from God, and we are destined for death in hell.
However, Romans 6:23 also tells us that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus. Romans 5:8 says that God loves us and Jesus died on the cross to take the penalty for our sins. The cross canceled sin. Then, Jesus rose again and gives us the opportunity to restore our relationship with God and eternal life in heaven.
Romans 6:23 says that this is a gift. We cannot earn our way to heaven. We must respond by believing that Jesus is the one & only way. It is about trusting Him and living in and for Him. The question is, "Where are you?"
