This past Sunday we made a major announcement regarding our All In Vision.

As many of you know, and some of you may not – this past November we began our All In Vision campaign to expand our influence and impact in our community and around the world through our facilities, our Network teams and our Strategic Partners.

To date we have given away $35,000 from that project to our Strategic Partners in India, at the House of Hope orphanage in Kenya, and through our new partnership with Compassion International in Peru. We have also begun renovations on our Northside location of The Journey.  After the completion of a merger   last year we were gifted a building and 10 acres of land debt-free.  This 35 year old building was in need of a number of renovations and we have construction crews there this month renovating and Journeyizing the facility to make it accessible and fit our culture where you can come as you are – a church for people who don’t like church (plus put in some much needed air conditioning!).

At our Pontaluna location, we have been renting our facility for the last 12 years. We believe the time is now to put down roots and have a place where our Kids and kids’ kids can experience relationships, not religion. So, we have been on the hunt for property with the plans to build a new facility on that property.

SO, HERE'S THE BIG NEWS:  We have purchased 16.5 acres of land, and in the last week received the green light from a survey and environmental study.  We are now having the site plan drawn up for that location, which will then be submitted to Fruitport township for approval.

What that means is we have a few hoops yet to jump through, but it is in the hands of the township for approval as every other due diligence issue that we had to deal with has been taken care of, so we felt it was the appropriate time to share with you & we know many of you have been waiting for this.
So, you wanna know where it is?

It is a piece of property on Quarterline Rd. between Sternberg and Mount Garfield Rd. – basically across the street from Dick’s Sporting Goods (to the east of the blueberry fields)! We believe this is about the best possible location we could have asked for and are excited about the opportunities there.

We are so excited about this & want to ask you to continue praying for favor as we move forward!! Thank you for your commitment to this!! We couldn’t do this without your generosity and partnership.

So, there it is.  We are owners of a great piece of property & are looking forward to an approval from the Township and the opportunity to watch the building process begin.  There is lots to celebrate at both our locations!  The best is yet ahead!
