This year, we are taking a journey through the New Testament. It begins with 4 accounts of Jesus called the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke & John. We are looking at the words of Jesus found in the first four books of the New Testament. He has words of life, hope, peace, and guidance.
RECAP
Today we looked at the good news according to Jesus. He said that the kingdom of God has come near. Jesus came to bring restoration of His kingdom. It’s about redeeming our lives and restoring our world.

QUESTIONS
1) Review the Bible verses above. Jesus said the kingdom of God is near. He brought the kingdom of Heaven back to earth. How do you think Jesus brought heaven to earth?
2) Jesus calls us to repent and believe. To repent means to turn around or to go the opposite way. How does that apply to our relationship with God? What is Jesus calling us to do?
3) Luke 5: Jesus’ words are about his mission. He came not for the healthy but for the sick. He came to be the friend of sinners and call them to repentance. How can we mirror that mission in our lives and our church
