This year, we are taking a journey through the New Testament. We are currently in the book of Romans. This book is actually a letter written by Paul to the church in Rome. He looks to unify the church and shared the fullest explanation of the gospel in this letter. You can view messages here. Search series for Made Right.

RECAP

We looked at the 2nd half of Romans (Chapters 9-16). Paul was addressing the conflict between the Jewish followers of Jesus and the Gentile followers in the church in Rome. Paul calls them to sincere love and understanding. Not acting like “I’m Right” but remember we all need to be made right with God.

QUESTIONS: Read Romans 12

Here’s a few reflection/discussion questions for this chapter:

1. It begins with “in view of God’s mercy”. What do you think it means to see people and circumstances through the view of God’s mercy? How do you need to renew your mind to see people and life like God sees them?
2. In verse 9-21 it talks about a love that is sincere. What stands out to you in those verses? How do you need adjust how you love others? Ask God for His love to fill you & overflow into your relationships.
3. How do these verses about love go against what we see in our world? If we loved like this together as a church, what impact would that make?
