Below are a variety of options to help you take next steps in your marriage:
Everyone is busy. Interact with each other more. Start a hobby together. Do more things together....like cooking...or at least have a discussion for what pizza toppings to order.
Schedule Date Nights regularly. Set up a contract with babysitters if needed. Even if your date night is at home, spend time together with no phones, kids, tv or distractions.
Respect each other. If someone smells what you dealt, don't blame it on your wife.
Encourage each other. The lawn doesn't mow itself. Say thank you.
While Pronto Pups and G & L dogs are good, you might need to plan a better anniversary dinner.
Pick your battles. You might not like his decorating with "all thing antlers" or her "foo foo duvet cover" (whatever that is). It's not always worth the fight.
If your wife asks - Do I look (fill in the blank)? There's not always a right answer. Sometimes it's best to pretend you're sleeping.
Be giving to each other in all things. If you both are giving, then you both are getting.
Pray together. As you take next steps with God, you'll take steps to be closer together.
