Week 3 of the Series: Summer Blockbuster
This month we are looking at some of this years' summer blockbusters and the lessons they have for our story as we look to flip the script to experience our best life. If you missed either of the first 2 weeks, you can watch the messages online.

BAPTISMS, BEACH & BONFIRE
August 23 - 6:00 pm at Pere Marquette Beach
This is a fun event to celebrate what God is doing in peoples' lives. Plan to meet at 6:00 pm at the grassy picnic and playground area by the Coast Guard Station at Pere Marquette. It's at the north end of the beach by what some people call "the ovals". Pack a picnic or some snacks to bring if you want. At 6:30, we'll head down to the beach area and have baptisms. After the baptisms, we'll have a bonfire and roast some marshmallows.

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering helps you to look beyond yourself, to meet the needs of others and help others take next steps. Volunteering also helps us connect with others, developing relationships that can help us experience our best life & help others experience their best life. Now is the perfect time to jump in. There are lots of ways to serve in and through The Journey and many that we have made intentionally easy for those just getting their feet wet. So dive in. Pick up a volunteer form from the Next Steps Center for areas where you can volunteer and we'll help you find the right fit! You could also tag along with a friend who is already serving!
